Ken Black ltd is an Irish family toy & nursery business. With four superstores and an increasing online presence reaching customers across the country. Example responsibilities:

Leading the web content with new products, retiring products, and monitoring the homepage content.

• Engaging with customer on phone and email with a web contact form directed to yourself. Engaging with suppliers with a focus on web product information.
• Managing your own work schedule and planning around suppliers; awaiting, editing, and uploading data and images.
• Working with supplier’s online portals (like Lego) were you gather web data for incoming products.
• Working with the buying team on new releases, retiring products and special promotions.
• Populating Mail Chimp email for launches and promotions, scheduling content on social platforms, managing competitions on social.
• Supporting the team with various tasks depending on time of year.

This is a full-time role based in our Portlaoise Head Office.

The role does not require any web coding skills.

Other duties will be covered as and when needed depending on the time of year and volume of activity.

Requirements:

• Experience with engaging with customers in a professional manner.
• Ability to take initiative & resolve issues.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to perform under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, applying time management qualities to meet the required deadlines.
• Possess good interpersonal and strong communication skills.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office.
