Marketing Coordinator

Supermac’s is Ireland’s largest and fastest-growing fast food restaurant group. The first Supermac’s opened its doors in 1978 in Main Street, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway. Supermac’s progression is widely noticed with a new restaurant opening every few months.

The role of Marketing Co-Ordinator is an exciting role and will be based in the south Leinster region.

Job Description

Reporting directly to the Marketing / Brand Manager working on Supermac’s /Papa John’s / SuperSubs and various other brands within the region.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Lead by example in a hands-on role, implementing individual store marketing plans in a professional and thorough manner and providing innovative solutions to marketing problems.
• Engage in Local Store Marketing Activities in each outlet and ensure marketing activities are been executed in full.
• Corporate sales regarding company catering.
• Involvement in the local community through schools, clubs etc.
• Planning ahead for upcoming events in each location so that the opportunity can be maximized.
• Mystery calls, mystery shoppers and customer call backs.
• Assisting operations within the outlet based on the business needs.

Requirements for the role:

• 1 year’s previous experience in a FMCG marketing/branding environment
• A marketing or business-related degree
• Full driving license
• Good commercial awareness of selling brands in competitive environments
• Self-starter with good time keeping skills
• Positive, highly driven, get stuck in attitude
• Excellent communication and organisational skills

You will be required to work 5 out of 7 days with flexibility needed based on the company’s needs.

This role will require you to be based 1 day bi-weekly in the Head office in Galway, all other days will be spent in the stores generally within your area.
